The conference was devoted to the idea of encouraging diverse concepts, which are more experience and opinion based, in addition to the theories already known. The attempt was to bridge the gap and integrate research with practice formally thereby enhancing the quality of Education, Architecture and Environment. The Conference aimed at bringing together Students of B.Arch. & M.Arch. courses from all Colleges in India, Research Scholars, Academicians and practicing Architects along with eminent established Architects and Jury members to a forum for exchange of knowledge and ideas through paper presentations to showcase their notions, hypotheses and ideologies evolved and devised through research and practice. Research Papers were invited on the key themes of ‘Architecture, Design & Planning’, ‘Construction Management’ and ‘Pedagogy & Architectural Education’ to cover an array of topics, that enables the Students, Academicians, Researchers and practicing Architects with the expertise in Architectural Design, Urban Planning, Urban Design, Conservation, Sustainable Architecture, Environmental Management, Construction Project Management, Architectural Education & allied disciplines, to publish their study in the form of Research Papers from January to March 2020. Selection of Research Papers for Publication after initial Acceptance was based on assessment given by the Technical Review Committee, plagiarism check after minor revisions, along with submission of Authors' Declaration & Copyright Transfer and payment of necessary fees for participation at the conference. NCET-2020 was scheduled to be held on 23rd and 24th April 2020. Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country, the conference was postponed and conducted on Friday & Saturday 7th & 8th August 2020 by video conference method using online application, considering the limitation of social-distancing and travel during the lock-down period. Selection of papers for Presentation was done from those selected for publication in the Proceedings Book/ e- Book and as per merit with respect to the assessment given by the Technical Review Committee. The Conference was conducted in the changed format of e-Conference for 2 days comprising of Day-1 including Inauguration by Guests & Key-note Speaker, Presentations of UG students’ category & PG students’ category; Day-2 including Welcome of Guests & Key-note Speaker, Presentations of ARP (Academician-Researcher- Practitioner) category. The e-Conference was streamed LIVE at our official Facebook channel and the audio-video recording of the Conference is published at our official YouTube channel also after the Conference. The free e-copy of Conference Proceedings with ISBN is published at our College website and the Print copy of Conference Proceedings Book with ISBN will be made available on request mailed to our official email-id. This event happened to be one of the first virtual, e-Conferences conducted in the country, especially during the pandemic environment and constraints. In India, many communities have attached spiritual importance to particular places or to the place where people feel a spiritual awakening. Circumambulation (pradakshina) around that sacred place becomes the key point of prayer and offering. All these circumambulation spaces are associated with the shrines or sacred places referring to auspicious symbolism. In Indian tradition, circumambulation has been practice in multiple scales ranging from a deity or tree to sacred hill, river, and city. The spatial character of the path, route, and street, shift from an inside dwelling to outside in nature or city, depending upon the central symbolism. The experience of the space while walking through sacred space remodel people's mental and physical character. As a result, not only the sacred space but their design and physical characteristics can be both meaningful and valuable to the public. This research has been done by exploring in two stage to finalize the conclusion, In which First stage will involve a literature exploration of Hindu and Buddhist scripture to understand the meaning and significance of circumambulation and in second, will investigate the architectural manifestation of various element in circumambulatory which help to attain its meaning and true purpose. Abstract | Peste-des-petits-ruminants (PPR) is an acute or subacute, highly contagious viral disease of small rumi- nants, characterized by fever, oculonasal discharges, stomatitis, diarrhoea and pneumonia with high morbidity and mortality. Peste-des-petits-ruminants virus (PPRV), the etiological agent of PPR, is antigenically related to another rinderpest virus (RP) which was globally eradicated. PPR is gaining worldwide attention through the concerted effort of scientists working together under the aegis of global PPR research alliance (GPRA). The first homologous live at- tenuated vaccine was developed using Nigeria 75/1, which has been used worldwide. In India, live attenuated vaccines have been developed using Sungri 96, Arasur 87 and Coimbatore 97 viruses. In this review, the status of PPR and control strategy with special reference to the Indian context is comprehensively discussed. This purpose-built performance space is a unique monumentalized instance of widely-prevalent courtly gatherings, featuring interpretive dance accompanied by music. E-mail:[email protected] ABSTRACT The epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata have been an integral part of the Indian cultural tradition. Since centuries, they have been told and reinterpreted several times and handed down from one generation to another. The Ramayana is based on the morals such as the triumph of goodness over evil, obedience, brotherhood, love, compassion, sacrifice – all looped into the thread of Indian cultural tradition with an emphasizes on the value of dharma. However, there are some female characters that have been left on the margin in this epic and have been portrayed as upholders of male honour. They are devoid of the proper attention for their roles and sacrifices they deserve. Kavita Kane in her novel, Sita’s Sister has revisited the Ramayana from the daring and unwavering Urmila’s (Laxmana’s wife) perspective – a marginalized character who has never received the responsiveness she is worthy of. Kane has given voice to the muted character of Urmila. The present paper studies the contemporary relevance of Sita’s Sister from feminist- revisionist myth-making point of view.
