Günter Tallner Member of the Managing Board

Günter Tallner, born in 1962 in Nuremberg, has been a member of the Managing Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) in Hanover since 3 February 2017. He is responsible for the corporate customers, treasury and markets segments. He is also responsible for the Saxony-Anhalt Investment Bank and relationships with Saxony-Anhalt.

Before joining NORD/LB, Tallner worked at Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt. Here, he became Head of Corporate Customers in Hesse in 2007. He led various projects in 2012 in preparation for his role as executive. In January 2013 he joined the Division Managing Board. In this role, he was responsible for large customers in the North-West Germany region and from February 2015 was also responsible for corporate customers at the bank's SME North segment. He was additionally responsible for corporate customers in Scandinavia and for the centre of competence renewable energies world wide.

Tallner studied law and economics in Nuremberg with overseas exchanges in the USA, Switzerland and the UK. Tallner is married.
