Harry Potter Fanfic Rare Pair Poll: There are canon pairs and popular 'ships, and we all have our own ideas of what 'ships are terrific, which ones are intriguing, which ones are "impossible," which ones make us go "aww," and which ones make us go "eww!" But whether a 'ship is one you love or loathe, there are some that are more common than others, whether they're canon pairings -- think Harry & Ginny or Molly & Arthur -- or not. So in this poll, we ask, "Which pair do you consider a "rare pair" in terms of fanfic?" Which 'ships are plentiful out there and which ones are uncommonly encountered? Don't think about whether you like the 'ship or not, or whether it's canon or completely fanon, just whether you consider it rare or difficult to find fics with

I haven't included all of the possible rare pair and common pair combinations -- that would take pages! -- and there's probably a bit of bias here in which pairs, rare or otherwise, that I've included. But since I am going to use the results in a very particular way (you'll see how after the poll closes!), in addition to not exhausting all possible pairings, I've also excluded some because of the purpose to which I will put the results. So if your favorite pair, rare or otherwise, isn't here, please, take no offense! And you can add a note at the end, if you like, and add a rare pair you'd especially liked to have seen on this list.
