The Bayou City Festival presented by Lone Star College held its P34 P36 inaugural festival on April 8-9, 2016 under the name of the Lone Star Book Open Space Open Space Festival. for Notes for Autographs

The idea for the festival itself originated when faculty at Lone Star College endeavored to create a community of readers within the City of Houston. As the fourth largest city in the United States, Houston is home to exceptional Connect with Us: amenities such as art and music festivals, ballet, theatre, opera, and museums. One notable exception to this list was a diverse, multi-genre celebration of . The Bayou City Book Festival fills that need by brining /bayoucitybf /bayoucitybf nationally and internationally known authors to Houston. Authors speak on behalf of their ideas, meet with attendees, and sign copies of their works. In addition to this, BCBF also works with community members, non-profits, local @bayoucitybf #StartCloseGoFar , and business to develop free programming for child and adults in order to promote the importance of for all ages.

We hope that you are as excited about the festival as we are and that you will join us for the 2017 Bayou City Book Festival during the first week of April at our many programs across Lone Star College.
