A 11-year-old boy was in criti- cal condition Monday after he was shot by a 4-year-old Sunday at Cedar Park Apartments, 377 NW Bascom Norris Drive, according to a Lake City Police Department news release. The release says “preliminary findings” indicate the shooting was accidental. The names of the victim and the shooter, as well ass the names of their parents were not released. The kind of gun used was not released, either. “(The) investigation is cur- rently ongoing into the circum- stances surrounding the pos- session of a firearm by a minor,” the release said. The release did not indicate where the victim is hospital- ized. City police say updates will be provided as the investigation progresses. College prez pay
