OTHER INFORMATION Investment Management PI PI CH CO Designed for clients who want to benefit from a personal focus on their investment portfolio but do not require financial planning. Financial Planning PI This service helps address our clients’ wider financial planning needs including advice on investment, protection or retirement requirements. Managed Portfolio Service (‘MPS’) PI This service is provided for financial advisers who offer a suite of risk rated model portfolios designed for their clients who do not require, or for whom it is not cost effective, to have a personalised solution. Brewin Portfolio Service (‘BPS’) PI A cost effective service for clients with smaller sums to invest who do not need advice. It combines the investment expertise of Brewin Dolphin with the freedom for individuals who are happy making their own risk decisions and investment choices. It gives access to six risk rated portfolios which are primarily invested in passive funds. Execution Only PI CH CO Custody, trade execution and settlement services for clients who have no need for advice and prefer to make their own investment decisions. This service is limited and we no longer provide it on a standalone basis to new clients. Non-core services Advisory PI CH CO The service provided is either ‘Advisory Managed’, where we provide advice on both the structure of the portfolio and the individual investments within it, or ‘Dealing with Advice’ where advice is provided on a transactional basis only.     Lazard Global Managed Volatility Fund AUG Commentary 2021 Market Overview e global equity markets continued their historic recovery with a seventh straight monthly gain in August. Momentum was strong as many indices posted multiple all-time highs during the month. e United States, overcoming a decline in consumer condence, continued to lead the major equity markets. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell calmed investors’ fear of a sharp curtailment in the central bank’s stimulus programs while indicating that economic strength was sufficient for the Fed to consider a modest reduction in its bond repurchase program. e euro area reported surprisingly strong GDP growth for the second quarter, outpacing most major economies, including those of China and the United States. Corporate earnings in Europe recovered further as vaccinations increased and the economy continued to reopen. European sell-side analysts raised their earnings estimates at a historically high rate. Japan also posted a positive month but trailed other markets; its economy grew more than expected in the second quarter, counteracting the effects of the spike in COVID-19 cases that had caused a sell-off in July. e spike will likely temper growth in the third quarter. e favorable economic news and low interest rates benetted the emerging markets, which outpaced the developed markets in August. Sector performance showed only modest dispersion in August, with every sector except materials posting a positive return. Financials were the strongest sector for the month and have taken leadership from energy for the year. Global factor performance was also relatively muted in the month. Risk measures showed mixed results as lower beta stocks and stocks with higher volatility over the past year outperformed.

    LAZARD ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF SENIOR NOTES OFFERING AND CONCURRENT TENDER OFFER BY LAZARD GROUP LLC NEW YORK, September 12, 2018 – Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today that its subsidiary Lazard Group LLC (“Lazard Group”) is commencing an offering (the “Offering”) of one or more series of its senior notes (the “Notes”). The Notes would be issued by Lazard Group and would be offered pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). The Notes would be senior unsecured obligations of Lazard Group. Concurrently with the Offering, Lazard Group is commencing a cash tender offer (the “Tender Offer”) for up to $250 million aggregate principal amount (such amount, as it may be increased or decreased, the “Aggregate Maximum Tender Amount”) of its outstanding 4.250% Senior Notes due November 14, 2020 (the “2020 Notes”). Lazard Group currently expects that, in the event that less than the Aggregate Maximum Tender Amount of the 2020 Notes is purchased pursuant to the Tender Offer, it will exercise its right to optionally redeem at the make-whole redemption price, calculated in accordance with the indenture governing the 2020 Notes, an amount of the 2020 Notes such that the aggregate principal amount of the 2020 Notes purchased in the Tender Offer plus the aggregate principal amount of the 2020 Notes redeemed in such redemption is approximately $250 million. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE UCI • LEGAL FORM French open-end investment company (Société d'Investissement à Capital Variable - SICAV) with a board of directors. • CLASSIFICATION Eurozone country equities. • ALLOCATION OF DISTRIBUTABLE INCOME Distributable income consists of: 1) net income plus retained earnings, plus or minus the balance of the revenue adjustment account; Net income for the financial year is equal to the amount of interest, arrears, dividends, bonuses and prizes, directors’ fees and all income generated by the securities that make up the Fund’s portfolio, plus income generated by temporary cash holdings, minus management fees and borrowing costs. 2) realised capital gains, net of expenses, minus realised capital losses, net of expenses, recognised for the financial year, plus any net capital gains of the same kind recognised over previous years that have not been distributed or accumulated, plus or minus the balance of the capital gains adjustment account.
