ANNUAL REPORT - - 201 4 FADF| ANNUAL REPORT- 2014 Since 2005 the FADF in cooperation with AAAS and OFII initiated the "Return to Sources" project aiming to assist the voluntary return of Armenians who are in irregular situations in France. Since the launch of the project up to December 31, 2014 within the framework of the project 221 small enterprises were created, the financing decision of 11 was made during 2014. The above- mentioned enterprises were created in the fields of cattle breeding, production and service provision. During 2014 the FADF worked out 28 business projects of creating small enterprises. It should be noted that the creation of small enterprises depends on the beneficiary’s goal-orientedness, the seriousness of the business project and feasibility. The commission that allocates the required amount for creating the enterprises held its meetings under the auspices of Embassy of the French Republic in Armenia. During the period from January 1 of 2014 to December 31 of 2014, two vocational trainings were organized. 4 beneficiaries have applied for getting vocational training. The small business applications will be discussed at the commission of January 2015. During the period from November 15 of 2012 to December 31 of 2013 close cooperation was established with other non- governmental and state structures implementing projects in the field of migration, as well as the project representative took part in Migration management board meetings. Close cooperation was established with OFII representative office in Armenia, State migration service, “People in need” NGO, “Armenian Caritas” NGO and with other organizations acting in the field. The Forum was organized with the support of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission, in the framework of the Black Sea Synergy. The Forum aims at increasing the level of dialogue and cooperation among NGOs in the wider Black Sea Region, strengthening the NGOs capacity to influence regional and national policies and to increase the number and quality of regional partnerships and projects. 160 organizations from 7 EU Neighborhood and 9 EU member countries, as well as 2 organizations from USA and Serbia were gathered by the Black Sea NGO Forum. The Armenian delegation was one of the biggest and consisted of 11 delegates. The organizations were elected taking into account the fields where the representing organizations have much expertise. This was the FADF’s first participation; however some members of the Armenian delegation have been participating since its commencement. This year’s edition of the Black Sea NGO Forum was dedicated to initiating a strategic process at regional level. The main target was to promote the cooperation between the NGOs so that they can hold the key to building trust, solidarity and regional initiatives that address common challenges, in the light of recent developments in the region.

Specifically, the consultation were focused in three specific dimensions, part of the analysis made by the Working Group - “Enabling environment for CSOs” to measure the progress made towards the achievement of the 2nd indicator of the Busan Partnership: The forum was productive in the view of establishment of cooperation between the SCOs acting in the matching field of interests and cross-border cooperation. In the view of our geographical and strategic visions of our organization the cooperation opportunities were mostly focused on the organizations working in the fields of migration, child protection and social entrepreneurship from further countries, such as Moldova, Ukraine,

Romania, Russia and Georgia. FADF| ANNUAL REPORT- 2013 1089 visits 1089 visits FRENCH ARMENIAN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION
