Since our workplace is often the place where we spend most of our time, let us begin by looking at how we can avoid stresses and improve our work life with the help of mindfulness. For an employee, being mindful means to be present in the moment, thinking only of the tasks at hand and the ability to refocus and re-establish a healthy state of mind at the workplace despite erratic schedules, irate tempers and conflicting deadlines.
