im Auftrag: medienAgentur Stefan Michel T 040-5149 1467 F 040-5149 1465 [email protected] THE FACES You Can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything (1970-1975) Alle vier Studio-Alben remastert plus Bonus-Disc mit Raritäten! You Can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything bringt den besten Sound, in dem man die Band je zu hören bekam! You Can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything (1970-1975) enthält die Alben The First Step (1970), Long Player (1971), A Nod Is As Good As A Wink… To A Blind Horse (1971) und Ooh La La (1973), wobei jedes der Alben zusätzliche Bonustracks enthält.

I was a kid at the dawn of the video age, living in a small town in Nova Scotia. So it was this huge event on Friday nights to watch videos. And particularly around that time, actually, there were a lot of very powerful women, Carole Pope included. So I just remember being rocked by her, and continue to be rocked by her absolutely. INTERVIEWER: And I think just as we got interrupted before, you were just telling us about LUBA and about her voice. TARA SLONE: LUBA has just got a really cool, unique, deep sort of soulful, scratchy voice. So I definitely remember dancing around as a kid and singing LUBA songs, lots of LUBA songs. INTERVIEWER: So I mean, yeah, I mean, I mentioned some artists before. It’s fine if you don’t have anything to say about either Lee Aaron or Alannah Miles, but Alannah Miles was huge in the late ‘80s, early ‘90s with… TARA SLONE: Yeah. I don’t whether you recognized anything in her voice. 01:02:00 TARA SLONE: Oh, yeah, I mean, Alannah Miles is a like powerhouse, belter.

The story began when I represented Mrs Hardeep Kaur against a charge of marital cruelty. She was seventy- eight, had a forbidding moustache and very bad knees. Her middle-aged daughter-in-law wrestled her into court every time the case came up for hearings. Clearly, the old girl had always been built for comfort, not speed, but her cantankerous eighty-two-year-old husband found no joy in her embrace. Despite his immaculately tied turban and his flowing white beard, he was something of a Dirty Harry on steroids, always looking to ‘make his day’ on some imaginary provocation.
