About AAHP and OAHM Oscar Anderson was a prominent business owner responsible for the early development of Anchorage, circa the late 19th and early 20th century. Volunteering at the museum is the perfect venue if you love history and enjoy sharing the history of the house, the Anderson Family and Anchorage with visitors.

The Oscar Anderson House was built in 1915 in a bungalow style of architecture, unlike many prefabricated buildings of the time. It belongs to the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) and is operated in agreement by AAHP. The museum is located within Elderberry Park at 420 M Street, Anchorage.
