Na Fianna On TG4 TG4’s weekly magazine programme, Dúiche, featured a few well know Na Fianna faces in this week’s edition. If you missed it, the link below will take you to the player and the Na Fianna piece is about 5 minutes in. http://www.tg4.tv/play.php?pid=4095042850001&title=Dúiche&series=Dúiche Lost & Found A Neck Chain with a turtle attached was lost in Collinstown last Sunday. It is of sentimental value to the owner so if anyone came across it could they hand it into the bar or the office. A pair of football boots and a cycling helmet were left behind after last weekend’s Camogie legends tournament. The owners can reclaim same by contacting the office, Mon-Fri 9am- 1pm, tel 8370210. Car Parking Users of the Na Fianna car park are reminded to park only in designated parking areas and not to park on double yellow lines. Members are also reminded not to leave any valuables in parked cars at any time. Na Fianna Nuacht 6ú Márta 2015 6 Na Fianna Nuacht Na Fianna & TCD Congrats to all involved with the successful Trinity College Senior Hurling team who won the Ryan Cup in Páirc na nGael last Saturday. There have been strong links between Coláiste na Trínóide agus Na Fianna over the years and Na Fianna helped host the Fitzgibbon Festival back in 2009. Strong Na Fianna representation was again evident on Trinity’s successful team this year as both the team and the backroom had Na Fianna reps on board. Cillian and Ciarán Heeney were prominent among the players while Eoin O’Leary and Paschal Conboy were on the management team and we are respectfully reminded that the TCD Hurling Club Uachtaráin, Tom Heffernan (2nd from right at the rear of the photograph and originally from Lismore) also played for Na Fianna back in the day.
