JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT (JA) HONG KONG Junior Achievement Hong Kong is a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the world’s largest organization dedicated to activating youth for future of jobs. Through delivery of cutting-edge, experiential learning in entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy, JA creates pathways for young people to realize their passion and potentials to the fullest. Since its establishment in 2001, Junior Achievement Hong Kong has engaged the support of over 22,000 business volunteers from 700 companies and served over 360,000 students from more than 600 schools.

Volunteer with JAHK By volunteer with JA as program facilitator, you can • enhance communication and leadership skills

JA Play Lab is a fun-filled, activity-based curriculum designed to help children understand their roles as consumers, employees and citizens. Through play, the modules (from P.1 – P.6 at 1-1.5 hour each) allow children to use their creativity while developing their cognitive and emotional strength. It enables children to engage and interact in the world around

them and learn entrepreneurial skills at an early age.

JA Play Lab JA More than Money introduces sensible financial management to primary school students and encourages positive lifelong habits. Through hands-on and engaging activities (3 sessions x 2 hours), students understand money basics, apply those skills to daily life, and recognise the significance of financial management in making informed life-decisions. JA Net’s Be Wise program aims to empower children aged 8-12 to acquire 8 digital citizenship competencies, enabling them to make discerning and deliberate choices that maximize the benefits of technology while mitigating cyber risks. Incorporating the internationally recognized and research backed DQ World online learning platform and offline school workshops, it is the first digital citizenship movement in Hong Kong to assess students’ Digital Intelligence Quotient (DQ™) and offer solutions to potential risks.

Entrepreneurial thinking and skills enable a person to be the master of his/her life and create their own opportunities. JA Be My Own Boss equips primary school students with basic entrepreneurship skills and the most important 4C skills (communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking) of the 21st century, as well as build their confidence for the future.
