* Tuskegee will look to defend the SIAC Championship, won in 2014 with a 47-41 victory over Albany State. The Golden Tigers were defeated in the opening round of the NCAA playoffs by eventual final four team West Georgia, 20-17. Tuskegee received all 10 votes as unanimous SIAC West favorite in 2015 with the return Osband Thompson. Thompson was selected as 2014 Co-Freshman of the Year in the SIAC while head coach Willie Slater was Co-Coach of the Year.
