UW Football Recruiting Class Includes 27 New Huskies SEATTLE -- A total of 27 student-athletes have signed national letters of intent or financial aid agreements to enroll at the and play football for the Huskies, Tyrone Willingham announced today. The group includes 25 high-school athletes and two that attended junior college last year.

Of the players in this year's recruiting class, six hail from Washington, 14 are from California, two are from Colorado and one each come from Hawaii, Texas, Utah, Oregon and Nevada.

Washington opens the 2007 football season Aug. 31 at Syracuse.
