Point 1: Keynote Speech from the biggest investor CEOs National Pension Service (NPS) and Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), the largest Korean institutional investors, have recently named new CEOs at their organizations. They will note the importance and the need to invest in alternative investments and will briefly speak about their future investment plans. Point 2: Market Overview led by world’s leading GPs EQT Partners, as the first GP speaker, will outline the Private Equity market, with an industrial approach. Followed by Swiss Capital Alternative Investments AG (StepStone Group), Private Debt market will be introduced with strategic asset allocation strategies. Golub Capital will present their views on the U.S. middle market lending market, focusing on the role of the private capital within the market. In order to meet investors’ rising interests in infrastructure, Guggenheim Partners Investment Management will explore in depth about Global Infrastructure Investments and opportunities hidden in the market.

Point 3: Performing its strongest strategies in U.S. Various respected GPs will present markets in United States. Focusing on its strong side, Comvest Partners will illustrate how to capitalize on opportunities in direct lending market. Lexington Partners will combine two most popular aspects of investment – U.S. and secondary. Drawing participants’ attentions, Hamilton Lane will explain the reason for popularity of U.S. middle market credit, in details. Capturing alpha and controlling risk – Abbott Capital Management will share their knowledge and experience, in U.S. buyout market. Point 4: Capturing opportunities on risk Turning potential risk into market opportunities will allow for an alpha generation. Cross Ocean Partners will give insights regarding European corporate credit and related secondary market opportunities, in the situations of regulatory reform. In a current state of low interest rate environment, Cerberus Capital Management L.P. will discover attractive opportunities. Focus of Adveq Management is at smaller buyouts which could generate strong and stable deal flow. Coping with volatility, Partners Group will introduce their previous experiences of generating steady returns. Point 5: Private Debt & Equity in Asian perspectives IDG Capital Partners will begin the Asian strategies by introducing technology investments in China. Followed by Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, the focus will be on outlining the challenges and opportunities in Chinese Private Equity market. Ending the China section, Clearwater Capital Partners will explore credit opportunities in China. Samena Capital will speak about unique opportunities in Indian credit market.

Point 6: Consultant’s & Legal Advice Preqin will give an insight regarding the private equity market in Europe and will explain in depth of dry powder, investor sentiment and deal flow. One of the leading Korean law firms, Kim & Chang will guide pathways to access Korean capital and speak about fund registration requirements and process in Korea.

Point 7: GP Panel GP Panel will be led by Terra Firma Capital Partners and be discussed with Guggenheim Partners Investment Management, EQT Partners, Cross Ocean Partners and Adveq Management. The topic of the panel discussion is ‘Generating Alpha in a Low Growth World’. Listening to different GP managers’ views on the low growth environment will illustrate the current situation of the global market.

Point 8: LP Panel There will be three LP Panel Sessions organized, where the panelists will discuss their future asset allocation plans and their views on these asset classes. Ms. Mathias is a Senior Managing Director and Guggenheim Investments’ Senior Macro Strategist. Building on 20 years of experience in global investment strategy, she works closely with the firm’s Global CIO to formulate Guggenheim’s global view and share it with portfolio managers and clients. She is a leader in market insight, regularly appearing on Bloomberg TV/Radio and CNBC. She has also been Head of Research for Guggenheim Investments and before that, Director of Research for Guggenheim Securities' Washington Research Group. Earlier in her career, she was a principal at the Global Environment Fund, leading global private equity investments in healthcare infrastructure Ms. Mathias has a B.A. (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Maryland, and a Master’s in International Affairs, with honors, from Georgetown University. She is a CFA Charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the CFA Institute.

Ms. Hubbell is a Senior Managing Director in Guggenheim’s investment management division responsible for developing and implementing structured investment products for Guggenheim’s institutional clients that target specific regulatory, accounting, tax and investment risk objectives. Prior to joining Guggenheim in 2010, Ms. Hubbell was a Managing Director and head of the Structured Products Group at Cantor Fitzgerald. Prior to Cantor, she headed Structured Credit at UBS and was responsible for arranging, structuring and marketing the firm’s credit-backed CLOs and other structured credit products. From 1986 through 1999, Ms. Hubbell ran Fixed Income Product Development at Credit Suisse. During that term she created and ran the firm’s CDO/CLO business, new issue mortgage group and developed specialized transactions across asset classes including real estate, derivatives, ABS and project finance. Ms. Hubbell received a B.A. from Stanford University and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.

Mr. Lindland joined Guggenheim in 1999 and has been responsible for management of structured finance asset portfolios. Prior to joining Guggenheim, he was Senior Vice President and director of the Corporate Transactions Group of Amerin Guaranty Corporation, a mortgage insurance company with which he was affiliated from its inception in 1993 to its sale in 1999. Previously, Mr. Lindland spent seven years in the investment banking and MBS areas of Rothschild Inc, Kidder Peabody & Co. and Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated. Mr. Lindland graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Computer Science and Philosophy. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Mr. Abrams joined Cerberus in 2016. Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Abrams was the Managing Partner of the Apollo European Principal Finance Funds franchise which had approximately $5 billion of assets under management with a primary focus on acquiring distressed debt, real estate and non-performing loans. From 1996 through 2007, Mr. Abrams was a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group of Credit Suisse, based in and New York. From 2004 through 2007, he founded and was the Head of the Credit Suisse Specialty Finance Investment business which invested in non-performing loan portfolios and distressed assets. From 1996 through 2004, Mr. Abrams was a founding member and Co-Head of the Global Distressed Sales and Trading Group at Credit Suisse (and its predecessor Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc.). Mr. Abrams began his career in 1989 as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Bear, Stearns & Co. and then as an associate/vice president at the Argosy Group, a boutique corporate restructuring firm. Mr. Abrams graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kravit joined Cerberus in 1996. Prior to his tenure at Apollo, Mr. Kravit was a Managing Director at G. Soros Realty Advisors/ Reichmann International, an affiliate of Soros Fund Management, from 1993 to 1994.
