SOPHOMORE STRONG Vault Michigan 49.325 • The Wolverine sophomores are showing no signs of a sophomore slump as the Season High Score 49.525 class continues to step up each week. • Sierra Brooks won three event titles at the Big Five meet in Ann Arbor, scoring career-best in two events, while sophomores Nicoletta Koulos and Gabby Wil- Uneven Bars son also had career-best on the afternoon. Michigan 49.375 • Koulos put together a career-best 9.925 on the uneven bars to tie for second Season High Score 49.525 with teammate Natalie Wojcik in the event. Koulos stepped up for the Maize and Blue and came in as an alternate on the vault, scoring a 9.800 and also led Beam Michigan on the floor with a 9.825. Michigan 49.163 • Wilson continued to impress as she tied a career-best 9.900 on the uneven bars Season High Score 49.475 and notched a career-high 9.875 on the balance beam for the Wolverines at the Big Five meet.

Floor HEISKELL EARNS PERFECT VAULT SCORE Michigan 49.163 • Junior Abby Heiskell’s vault is worth a 9.950 and at Illinois she achieved per- Season High Score 49.450 fection, scoring the 9.950 to lead off the rotation for the Maize and Blue. • Heiskell earned her first title of the season and fourth of her career and ranks 14th nationally on the vault with an average score of 9.875. (2021 Road To Nationals Rankings) WOJCIK CONTINUES TO IMPRESS No NQS for week of March 1. • Junior Natalie Wojcik took home her fourth all-around and beam titles at Illi- nois, scoring a 9.975 on the beam and a 39.625 in the all-around. • Wojcik also earned a share of the floor title, scoring a 9.925 to tie for first with teammate Gabby Wilson. • The junior all-arounder currently leads the nation on the beam with an aver- age score of 9.956, while ranking second in the all-around (39.613) and ranking seventh on the uneven bars (9.906).

WILSON EARNS THIRD FLOOR TITLE OF 2021 • Sophomore Gabby Wilson picked up her third floor title of the season, scoring a 9.925 to tie with Wojcik in the event. • Wilson captured her second straight floor victory of the season, winning the event against Nebraska, while also taking home the win against Ohio State in the season opener.

She was awarded a scholarship following her sophomore season. • Brenner has been a consistent competitor on three events in her two years with the Wolverines, earned second team WCGA regu- lar-season All-America honors this past season on vault.

MICHIGAN COACHING STAFF • Head coach Bev Plocki enters her 32nd season at Michigan • Plocki has a career record of 792-260-4 (.751), 308-45 (.872) in the Big Ten • She has coached Michigan to 24 Big Ten titles and six Big Ten regular season crowns • Plocki broke Indiana’s James “Doc” Counsilman’s record for the most Big Ten titles by any coach, in any sport, in Big Ten history • As the head coach of the Wolverines Plocki has 24 NCAA Cham- pionship appearances, 11-time Big Ten Coach of the Year was the 1994 NCAA National Coach of the Year and coached five individu- als to nine NCAA Championships • Scott Sherman is in his 25th season at Michigan and was pro- moted to Associate Head Coach last offseason.
