Company history ZINKPOWER Batam Indo began its operations in April 2008. Due to its nearness to the island state of Singapore and the Malaysian port city of Johor Bahru, the free trade zone of Batam, with an international airport, a port and more than 20 industrial estates in which more than 170,000 people work, has developed into an industrial centre.

Our service In our state-of-the-art galvanizing plant we offer the galvanizing of a wide variety of materials with dimensions of up to 12.7 x 1.7 x 2.75 m. We collect and deliver in Singapore.

Advantage of hot dip galvanizing In comparison to paint systems hot dip galvanized steel components are more durable and stronger. Reduced consumption of natural resources, lower emissions and a more favourable carbon footprint speak for itself.

All companies of our group are certifi ed according to DIN EN ISO 9001. We galvanize according to DIN EN ISO 1461, ASTM A 123 and similar international standards. Highly qualifi ed staff ensure highest quality and constant monitoring of the complete process. We are also certifi ed according to OHSAS 18001 – the internationally recognized assessment specifi cation for occupational health and safety management systems.

Part of the Kopf Group’s philosophy is to safeguard the environment and the responsible use of natural resources. This is why we set our own environmental standards and make sure they are consequently imple- mented by all our companies. Our production facilities do not produce waste water, special ﬁ ltering equipment developed by our engineering team is used to clean the air and excess heat is re-used through heat exchangers. The energy consumption and environmental sustainability of each of our investments is checked. As a result of these policies all companies are DIN EN ISO 14001 certiﬁ ed.

HOW TO FIND US

We are located in Tanjung Uncang Industrial Park, which is a well-known industrial area in Batam, because some of the big shipyards are established here (e.g. Nanindah, Graha, Batamec and Nippon Steel). If you come from Singapore we recommend to take a Ferry from the Harbour Front to Sekupang. The passage takes approx 40 minutes. From Sekupang to us it will take once again approx 20 minutes. From the main street you will ﬁ nd ZinkPower on the right hand in the opposite of Nippon Steel.

The travelling time to our plant from Nadim Airport is about 50 minutes and from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal about 40 minutes.
