Summer Programs 2015 HigherEd Temple University Summer Owls Leadership Program ● For students completing grades 10 and 11 ● Opportunity to earn 3 college credits in courses in business, media and communication, health professions, or science ● Additional workshops in time management, study skills, and organization ● Held July 13August 2, 2015 ● Cost in 2014 was $4,195 (2015 cost is TBA) and includes the college course, room, board, workshops, and activities ● Students applying by March 17, 2015 will have their $55 application fee waived. For more information see www.marist.edu/precollege The Arts/Media/Journalism Boston University New England Center for Investigative Reporting (NECIR) High School Investigative Journalism Workshop ● Held at Boston University ● Three sessions: ○ June 29July 10, 2015 ○ July 1324, 2015 ○ July 27August 7, 2015 ● Opportunity for students to work alongside Boston University faculty and other journalists on NECIR’s website as well as regional and national publications ● Tuition for the program is $2,200.
