TO THE MORDIALLOC ROTARIANS, PARTNERS AND FRIENDS OF ROTARY. BIRTHING KIT ASSEMBLY DAY.

Hello Everyone,

Just a reminder this coming Saturday 16 November we have our Birthing Kit Assembly Day in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Cheltenham.

The Assembly Day starts at 12.30 pm. and the venue this year is St Patricks Primary School Assembly Hall, Childers Street Mentone.

This year we have 1600 kits to assemble and so we need as many volunteers that we can muster. Please come along and bring a friend, or family members including grandchildren if you would like, the more the merrier and quicker the job will get done.

Rotarian Jenny Pudney has had the assistance of her year 9 students from Mount Erin Secondary College, who have folded the plastic sheets, separated the gauze and cut the string that goes into the kits, which is an amazing help to us on the day. We sincerely thank Jenny and her students. On Saturday our job will be to put all the pieces together in the kits.

Tea and coffee will be available on the day.

I hope that you can come on the day and give us a hand to assemble the kits. It’s a fun day and you can chatter and work as you are helping a great cause. If you have any queries please give me a call.

Kind regards,

Kay Gordon, Rotary Club of Mordialloc Mobile 0447 437 950
