BRUINS ASSIGN , TRENT FREDERIC, JEREMY LAUZON AND ZACH SENYSHYN TO PROVIDENCE

BOSTON – General Manager announced today, April 7, that the team has assigned forwards Anton Blidh, Trent Frederic and Zach Senyshyn and defenseman Jeremy Lauzon to Providence.

Blidh has played in 71 games with the this season, tallying eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points and a plus-12 rating. The 6-foot, 201-pound forward also leads the team with 92 penalty minutes. Blidh skated in 71 games with Providence in 2017-18, recording 11 goals and 15 assists for a career-high 26 points and a plus-nine rating. He added two goals in four postseason games, while also making one NHL appearance with Boston on March 19 against Columbus. The winger appeared in 19 games with Boston in 2016-17, tallying one and one assist. He also played 53 games with Providence in 2016-17, notching 10 goals and six assists for 16 points and a plus-six rating. In his first professional season with Providence in 2015-16, he posted 10 goals and four assists for 14 points in 65 appearances.

The Molnlycke, Sweden native was originally selected by the Bruins in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Frederic, 21, made his NHL debut on January 29 and has skated in 15 games with Boston this season.

He has also skated in 51 games with Providence this season, tallying 11 goals and 11 assists for 22 points with 67 penalty minutes and a plus-four rating. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward also notched five goals and three assists for eight points in 13 games with Providence following his collegiate season at University of in 2017-18. Frederic spent two seasons at Wisconsin from 2016-18, compiling 32 goals and 33 assists for 65 points in 66 games.

The St. Louis, Missouri native was originally selected by Boston in the first round (29thoverall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

Lauzon, 21, has skated in 16 games with Boston this season, scoring his first-career NHL goal against the Vegas Golden Knights on November 11. He made his NHL debut on October 25 against the . He has also appeared in 28 games with Providence this season, tallying one goal and six assists for seven points with a plus-7 rating. In his first professional season with Providence in 2017-18, the 6-foot-3, 202-pound blueliner skated in 52 games, compiling one goal and six assists for seven points with 38 penalty minutes and a plus-one rating. Prior to joining the professional ranks, Lauzon played four seasons with Rouyn-Noranda of the QMJHL from 2013-17. He played in 200 career QMJHL games, totaling 35 goals and 95 assists for 130 points with 282 penalty minutes and a plus81 rating.

The Val D’or, native was originally selected by Boston in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Senyshyn, 22, is in his second professional season with Providence and has tallied 14 goals and 10 assists for 24 points in 62 games. In his first season with the club in 2017-18, the 6-foot-3, 196- pound forward posted 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points in 66 games. He has also skated in two games with Boston this season, scoring his first career goal in the team’s 3-0 victory in on April 4.

Prior to turning pro, Senyshyn spent three full seasons with the Soo Greyhounds of the Hockey League (OHL) from 2014-17. He compiled 114 goals and 63 assists for 177 points in 195 career OHL appearances.

The Ottawa, Ontario native was originally selected by Boston in the first round (15th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
