NSE Monthly Trading Highlights October 2013 Equity market Equity market performance continued on an upward trend on the back of strong foreign trading activity. Compared to the month September 2013, equity turnover in the month October 2013 climbed 58.39% with foreign investor participation increasing to 55.74% , heavily inclined on the buy side. NSE Monthly Trading Highlights October 2013 Bond market The month of October 2013 recorded a bond turnover of Kshs 52 billion, double September 2013 figure. The highly traded bond was IFB1/2013/012, trading Kshs 25 billion on a high and low yield of 12.75% and 12.00% respectively.
