insight on department activities such as workshops, seminars, industrial visits, academ- ic performance of the students and other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. This newsletter will also provide a platform for highlighting the achievements of stu- dents and faculty members of Civil Engineering Department. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Dr. H.N Established in 2004 with modest intake strength of 40 the department has grown three Rajakumara folds to 120. The PG course in Structural Engineering was started in August 2013. The Professor & HOD department has a balanced competency of faculty richly experienced, highly qualified Civil Department SVCE, Bengaluru and talented in diverse fields. The department has been actively engaged in conducting workshops, trainings, technical lectures and publishing research papers, newsletters and conducting industrial visits. Students are engaged in professional activities through stu- dent chapters.
