2013 TPA-TDC High Performance Coaching Workshop

Thursday, April 11th – Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club Clay Court Training with Larry Jurovich & Oded Jacob

Tennis BC (TBC) and The Tennis Professionals Association (TPA) are proud to present a 2013 TPA-TDC coaching workshop that will focus on Clay Court Training. It will count as a full recertification opportunity and will be delivered by Oded Jacob and Larry Jurovich.

Oded is currently the head of Tennis Canada’s National Junior Training Program in Vancouver, which opened in 2011 and is already seeing positive results in the midst of its second full year. He is recognized as one of the most influential and well-regarded tennis leaders in Israel having worked with top Israeli players such as Shahar Peer, Dudi Sela and Grand Slam champions Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich. He is also a former Olympic coach for his home country and captained Israel’s Junior Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams while acting as the director of the Israeli National Tennis Centre.

A coaching development consultant for Tennis Canada, Larry is the leader of the Coach 3 Certification Course and has led several TPA workshops throughout the country. He is an integral part of the Tennis Development Centre program and travels to a number of Canada’s TDCs to work with coaches and players.

Cost: TPA Members: $49 plus HST NON Members: $109 plus HST
