Your Visit to The Engine House

Your train arrives at Highley at 10.52am for you to visit The Engine House Visitor Centre, where several of our steam locos are safely on display until it’s time for them to be restored for use on our trains once again. The Engine House is a 5-minute walk from Highley station. After exploring our Visitor Centre, it’s back on the train at 12.10pm for your journey to Bridgnorth.

Bridgnorth

You arrive at Bridgnorth at 12.35pm, where you have nearly 2 ½ hours to explore the beautiful town before your return journey to Kidderminster.

A stroll round the town is a must – the Castle Walk, the two churches – St Mary’s designed by Thomas Telford, and St Leonards, and the Town Hall in the middle of the High Street. Just leave yourself enough time back at the station for a brew or a pint in the Railwayman’s Arms on Platform 1!

Your train departs Bridgnorth at 3.00pm, arriving back at Kidderminster at 4.04pm.

Kidderminster

Once you’re back at Kidderminster, you can visit the King & Castle pub, the gift shop and the Railway Museum!
