In the arena of fundraising, Gora has success- fully led a one-year $12 million capital campaign (surpassing the goal by $1.6 million) to renovate the Ball State Football Stadium. In fiscal year 2006, the university raised $38 million from private gifts. Gora came to Ball State from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she was named chancellor in August 2001.
