Inauguration of Tulu Sangha Activity by Shri.Aravinda bolar, Tulu Cine Artist on 25th September 2019 With great enthusiasm, Tulu Sangha activity for the acdemic year 2019-20 was inaugurated at AIET Auditorium on 25th September 2019 at 2.00 pm. by Sri Aravinda Bolar, Tulu Cine Actor, Mangalore and mention in his inaguaral talk that this is only engineering college having Tulu Sangha and impresed the audience by his film dialogue and wished for the great success of the Sangha in upcoming days. Sri Vivek Alva, Managing Trustee, Alva’s Education Foundation mentioned the rich culture of Tuluvas and insisted the students to take active part in the activities of Tulu Sangha and keep the Sangha active throughout the year. Prof.K.V.Suresh ,Coordinator ,Tulu sangha Dr.Yogish Kairodi Alvas degree college Moodbidri, Heads of various departments, Deans and Coordinators of the Sangha were present during the programme. Tulu Talk By Shri Kadri Navaneeth Shetty on 18-10-2019 The AIET TULU Sangha organised a talk on ‘Tulu proverb and gadelu in Dakshinna Kannada District’ by Shri Kadri Navneeth shetty Mangalore on 18th October 2019 at Seminar Hall ,MBA Block for the benefit of Tulu speaking students as well as faculty of the institute. Speaker said that, Tulu is a Dravidian language spoken mainly in the south west part of the Indian state of Karnataka and also in the Kasaragod district of Kerala. The Tulu speaking region is often referred to as Tulu Nadu. The native speakers of Tulu are referred to as Tuluva or Tulu people. Tulu is one of the most highly developed languages of the Dravidian family. It looks as if it had been cultivated for its own sake. Tulu is the primary spoken language in Tulu Nadu, a region comprising the districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi He was speaking about Tulu Proverb and gadelu and explain to the students and interactive with students about different tulu proverb, Tuluva Pardanas are sung narratives, which are part of several closely related singing traditions in Tulu language, Pardans are sung during occasions which describe the evolution of Tulu tribes and Tulu culture.He Said that the languages do not develop only through reading and writing. Since its inception in 2014, MACX has been actively organizing various activities to instill passion, vigor and enthusiasm amongst the students. It has consistently been the pioneer in subduing difficulties of the various aspects of technical fields through guest lectures, workshops, seminars, tech-talks and alumni interactions. The prime motive of the association has been to encourage students to display their hidden talents and to provide a platform to showcase their competence and nourish interpersonal skills which would help them in realizing their dreams. The association also focuses on keeping up with the present trends by actively organizing workshops on current technologies and guiding students for higher education by various interactive sessions. Students are also mentored and encouraged to participate in social impact programmes such as blood donation camps, Swachh Bharat Campaigns, Visits to Orphanages and old age homes and providing selfless service to rural areas to aid in overall development.
