YUI began writing songs in ninth grade.At the age of sixteen , she decided to leave school. On the encouragement of a friend and as she watched street performances, she began studying songwriting and playing the guitar in Fukuoka private music school 「「「VOICE 」」」 and she carried her guitar around, singing local songs from places to places, including Shingu Beach. Then, she found a job to earn money to make her first single, that is a 「「「 It’s happy line ／／／I know 」」」,but, just limits the quantity and sells 1500.
