he 8 Wing Martial Arts Club Theld a spook-tacular event on Oct. 29 when they hosted their an- nual Halloween night in conjunc- tion with the St. John’s ambulance. Between 70 and 80 children and their parents came out to the frighteningly good event which featured two haunted houses for those looking for a real scary experience and one much less heart-stopping for the younger children. The young, costumed martial artists saw movies, played games, made crafts, and ate snacks in their various dojos. “It was a great evening,” noted club president Master Corporal Mark Waters. “It went very well and the kids had an amazing time! They were even asking af- terwards what we were doing for next year.”
