About the Project Inauguration of the Project With an objective of developing women from the Varappetty Grama Panchayath Vice President Mr. A. S. rural villages as mason workers, Kudumbashree Balakrishnan Inaugurating the Mason Training Programme Mission Ernakulam initiated a pilot project on Mason training at Kothamangalam. Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery is the Training Agency for the project. The candidates are rural women from Kothamangalam Taluk, primarily from three Panchayaths namely; , Varappetty and Keeramapara. 30 women were selected after the orientation and interview.

The training is designed for one month includes both theoretical and practical experience.
