Permit me to make further reference to the interest you have expressed in Private Melvin J . Brewer, 6954524, concerning· whose case I wrote you on Apri 8 , 1947 .

I am now informed that Private Brewer has been transferred from Camp Kilmer, New Jersey, to the Detachment of Patients, Valley Forge General Hospital, Phoenixville, Pen~sylvania, for further observation and treat­ ment.

As I have previously advised you, the record of Private Br ewer ' s trial by general court-martial is now under consideration by a Board of Review in the Office of The Judge Advocate General as required by the statutes of the United States. I shall be pleased to follow t his matter through and keep you informed as to further developments in this case.
