KEEPING A WATCHFUL EYE

Hebron Hills, a region surrounding the city of , is known for its particularly violent, extremist Arab population. In recent years, Jewish pioneers have been plagued mercilessly with heinous Arab terrorist attacks, including kidnappings, shootings at passing Israeli cars, infiltrations of Jewish communities, arson, and murder. Stone-throwing at passing Jewish cars is a favorite sport among many Arab teens. For these vulnerable pioneers living under constant threat, the lack of security and surveillance equipment is a harrowing liability. The Hebron Hills Regional Council oversees and supports security activities for the small communities in the region. At any given time, both volunteer and professional security team members in the small communities of Hebron Hills must wear many hats: rangers, firefighters, and paramedics, all at once. Whether patrolling the desolate Judean hills or rushing to an emergency, these security personnel must be prepared for any situation, fully stocked with a variety of gear and supplies on hand. Security vehicles need utility truck bed toppers that include durable toolboxes to hold all the essential supplies and expensive, life-saving equipment. These truck toppers or caps keep everything well organized and sheltered from the elements. Recently, the regional council boosted its security forces, purchasing three new vehicles. But they still need to purchase vital life-saving emergency equipment and a utility truck bed topper for each security truck. Stretching across over 1,000 square meters, terrorist activities in the Hebron Hills region are constantly in flux, requiring vigilant surveillance, frequent reassessment of security needs, and the ability to modify operations on the fly. The changing nature of terrorist threats in the region calls for moveable cameras, whose locations can be changed with ease as threats move. Last year, CFOIC Heartland’s generous donors enabled The Hebron Hills Regional Council to purchase three moveable cameras. But they need to expand their surveillance capabilities to address the ever-changing threat. This year, the Hebron Hills Regional Council needs to buy five additional cameras. The expansive Hebron Hills region includes the borders of the small communities and the surrounding plains and valleys. They desperately need to purchase surveillance drones to help them gain greater coverage of the region. The drones will help first responders have advance warning of any potential threats while improving their efficiency and response time. The Hebron Hills Region needs your help to purchase vital emergency and surveillance equipment to keep an eagle-eyed watch over the area. Your support will fully equip them for any situation that may arise. The cameras and drones can help them catch threats early before they become full-fledged attacks. Your donation will help keep these men, women, and children safe as they fulfill prophecy in the Biblical Heartland.
