Operational Phase: The solid waste generated from project will be mainly domestic in nature and the quantity of the waste will be 1.4 Ton/day. Solid wastes generated will be segregated into biodegradable (waste vegetables and foods etc.) and recyclable (papers, cartons, thermo-cool, plastics, glass etc.) components and collected in separate bins. The wastes will be disposed through Govt. approved agency.

Liquid effluents: During construction phase, sewage will be treated and disposed through septic tanks with soak pits. The waste water in operation phase will be treated up to tertiary level in one STP of 350 KLD capacity which would be in 2 modules of 175 KLD each and the treated sewage will be reused as agricultural measures for horticulture and to be supplied to local farmers. The treated waste water will be recycled/re-used for horticulture, flushing, and general washing. 1.16 Facilities for long term housing of No Local laborers will be hired from nearby operational workers? areas during construction phase. 1. The projects involving clearance under Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 1991 shall submit with the application a C.R.Z map duly demarcated by one of the authorized agencies, showing the project activities, w.r.t. C.R.Z (at the stage of TOR) and the recommendations of the State Coastal Zone Management Authority (at the stage of EC). Simultaneous action shall also be taken to obtain the requisite clearance under the provisions of the C.R.Z notification, 1991 for the activities to be located in the CRZ.

2. The projects to be located within 10 km of the National Parks, Sanctuaries, Biosphere Reserves, Migratory Corridor of Wild Animals, the project proponent shall submit the map duly authorized by Chief Wildlife Warden showing these features vis-à-vis the project location and the recommendations or comments of the Chief Wildlife Warden thereon (at the stage of EC).”

3. All correspondence with the Ministry of Environment & Forests including submission of application for TOR/Environmental Clearance, subsequent clarifications, as may be required from time to time, participation in the EAC Meeting on behalf of the project proponent shall be made by the authorised signatory only. The authorised signatory should also submit a document in support of his claim of being an authorised signatory for the specific project.”
