P., was born in Quincy, Illinois, March 25, 1915. She was graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Quincy, Illinois, June, 1933, and attended Quincy College from 1933 to 1934. The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Latin was conferred by Loyola University, June, 1939. From 1940 to 1946 the wri tar has been engaged in teaching Latin and French at Routt College High School, Jacksonville, Illinois.
