This likely comes as no huge surprise, as these books have been constantly delayed since volume 2. However, D fans like myself will be upset to learn that this volume (7) leaves us with only the first part of wonderful "Mysterious Journey to the North Sea" story told, and that volume 8 does indeed exist - both in French and Japanese (a quick eBay search will put you on the right path) but will not see a release on US shores.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Well worth the waitBy EruditeI've waited a long, long time for this volume to be released and I was ecstatic when it came in the mail. Be forewarned; it is part one to a two part story so the second part will probably take some time to be released. Like I said in another view, these mangas are actually very closely based off the novels and don't deter too much from them. As always, D is magnificent. He glows with that ethereal, gothic dark beauty that Kikuchi likes to draw attention on. The characters in his novels, male and female, tend to describe D as gorgeous, which I think is an understatement in D's case.
