Situated in the beautiful New Forest National Park and housed in a stunning 17th Century “Manor House, Moyles Court is an idyllic setting for a school. It is a place where children can be children, where they feel safe, supported and valued and most importantly, where they feel happy. Our small class sizes ensure that every child is known and understood and our fabulous teachers nurture, challenge and support them every day. Ric”hard Milner-Smith, 2 MA, BA (Hons), PGCE 3 Moyles Court School is well-established with a history of more than fifty years as a school and is housed in a 16th Century Manor house within the beautiful New Forest National Park. It is a day and boarding co-educational school taking pupils from 3 to 16 years. The school is located close to Ringwood, a market town near the south west coast of England. It is close to all major rail and road links and within ninety minutes to international airports. Whilst benefitting from being near the transport links the school is in a peaceful fourteen acre setting, surrounded by woodland streams, lakes and Forest ponies. It is a safe and beautiful rural environment in which to live and study.

4 5 Boarding at Moyles Court Home The boarding environment at Moyles Court School aims to provide a welcoming and supportive setting where students can flourish and develop within a safe campus environment. Boarders develop a positive attitude to studying, and support of other students is strongly encouraged across our mix of UK, European and international cohort. from home... We have two boarding houses (single sex) and students are cared for by kind, friendly and experienced house staff. Wi-Fi in the houses makes it easy for pupils to stay in touch with home. We cater for all dietary needs and offer a wide variety of food, which is prepared on-site, in our main school dining room. Many fun activities, trips and social events are organised at the weekends and the boarding community often enjoy meals out together.

6 7 Academic Results & Achievements

The excellent teaching and individualised learning environment enables all pupils to make huge academic progress and help pupils achieve the best possible results. We are always proud of our pupils’ GCSE results. It shows their excellent performance and the significant ‘value added’ achieved. In recent years our GCSE results have seen an increasing number of pupils achieving A* and A grades. For example, an international student from Hong Kong recently achieved 8 A*’s, 3 A’s and one B grade to secure an Academic Scholarship at Gordonstoun, a top Independent school in the UK. The Broadway Education Group also offers progression to Bosworth Independent College and St Michael’s for A Level or BTEC study. The school has also been recently recognised by the ISA (independent Schools Association) for ‘excellence in the Arts’ following consistently high results in Art, Design and Technology, Textiles and Photography.

Curriculum and ESOL GCSE RESULTS 2017 A*-A Grade 29% Class sizes are small and the average class size is 15. In the Senior School, Years 7 to 9 students follow a broad and A*-B Grade 63% balanced curriculum that provides a strong foundation for GCSE, which is studied in Years 10 to 11. A*-C Grade 94% For our International students, we can offer intensive English support in the form of additional English lessons, by 100 specialist staff that sit alongside their academic programme of study. The small class sizes allow our teachers to 5 or more GCSE s at A*-C % provide a high level of individualised care and attention for every child. Moyles Court provides an all-round education, which comprises of both excellent academic teaching and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. Dover College Moyles Court is a small school so everyone has a close relationship including the teacher and student. The small year group means that the teacher can pay Godolphin more attention to every student. There is also many subject choices for GCSE. Gordonstoun The Houseparents’ treat the boarders like a family and I feel really relaxed here. Ringwood School “I have been at Moyles Court since I was in Year 3. I was a day pupil for 6 Sherfield months then became a boarder. My parents wanted me to study in the UK to learn English as I only spoke Arabic at home.
