Wednesday knock out rounds comprise the following players including two representatives Aaron Wilson and Barrie Lester along with the highly fancied Dylan Fisher and Ben Twist to name a few of the stars looking to proceed to Thursdays finals.

Locals are well represented with the Moe trio of Brett O'Donnell, Craig Thornton and John Harvey along with Alan Grubb Yallourn the only home Club player. James Scullin and Geoff Cole are Traralgons reps left.

Cory Parker Kurri Kurri NSW defeated Yallourn youngster Patrick Lewis and Mitcham's Colin Veedendaal to win this section.

Dennis Throup Drouin provided a major upset defeating the Adelaide hotshot Nathan Pedersen Modbury S.A. and Wayne Lynch from Yarram

B O'Donnell Moe had good wins over Wayne Morris West Sale and Rohan Dennis Kurri Kurri NSW in another upset win by a local.

Dylan Fisher Clayton carried on his winning form from the Richmond Union Victorian Masters to defeat Jordan Blair-Bremner Mentoneand Vin McIlwain Traralgon

Ben Hubber Glenroy Glenroy had good wins over Chris Ward Traralgon and Ed Whelan Yallourn.

John Harvey Moe played steady draw bowls to have upset wins over Chris Thomas Cobram and James McCausland Trafalgar.

Commonwealth Games Singles player Aaron Wilson Cabramatta NSW survived a nail biting match with Gary Ingley Moe after defeating Ben Bengamy Alexandra. Plenty of spectators enjoyed the last game of the day.

Jarryd Davies Essendon came from 15 - 21 down against Steve Pallot Warragul to win his section after defeating Mitch Sidebottom South in the morning match peppered with a lot of strong drives by each player.

Ben Twist St John's Park was another high-profile player easily beating John Wasiukiewicz but having to battle to win the day with a titanic struggle against Paris Hilton who a few years ago knocked out the favoured Matt Flapper Ocean Grove and was looking to do it again before falling short.

Craig Thornton Moe was involved in long games against Bob Watt Whittlesea and a tiring John Horwood Berwick before winning his section to be the only countback winner of the day..

Alan Grubb Yallourn had good wins over Bruce Penney Yarram and Dave Currie Traralgon.

Jay Bye-Norris Essendon had wins over Dave Ashby Clayton and Sean Kennedy Yallourn.

Barrie Lester Mulgrave Country Club looking for his sixth title before heading to the Commonwealth games made short work of Gary Johnson Drouin and John Millier Yarram

Andrew Rees Kurri Kurri NSW looked to be in fine form as he defeated Ron Witton Morwell Club and Alex Houston Glenroy.

Luke Soligo Fitzroy-Victoria played steady bowls to defeat Josh McCormick Dromana and Terry Sullivan Warragul.
