The Village of Clinton is located 39 km north of the Trans Canada Highway #1 and Cariboo Highway #97 junction, with an elevation of 887 meters. This active community of 650 residents, with its colorful history of over 150 years and its unique western atmosphere, was founded as a direct result of the "boom" of the Cariboo Gold Rush.

Clinton, incorporated in 1963, boasts of hosting British Columbia's oldest continuously running event, the Clinton Annual Ball, now held in May of each year. As a midway point between Vancouver and Prince George, Clinton serves as a centre providing amenities to both its own residents and visitors alike.

She was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations for Rural Development on June 10, 2013. She is also a member of the Environment and Land Use Committee.

Donna has previously served as Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Communities and Development to the Minister of Community, Tourism, Sport and Cultural Development. She has been a member of the Select Standing Committees on Aboriginal Affairs, on Health, and on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills.

A self‐employed business owner and realtor, Donna served as mayor of the District of 100 Mile House from 1986 to 1990 and again from 1996 to 2008.

During that time, Donna served as co‐chair of the Council of Resource Community Mayors, as well as chair of the Cariboo‐Chilcotin Beetle Action Coalition. Additionally, she was a member of the federal government’s Minister of Natural Resources Committee and a member of the Premier’s Climate Action Team.

Shirley was appointed Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Minister Responsible for Labour on June 10, 2013.

With more than 12 years of Cabinet experience, Shirley has served as Deputy Premier, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Minister of Education, Minister Responsible for Early Learning and Literacy, Minister of Advanced Education, Minister of Health Services, and was the first female to hold the position of Attorney General in British Columbia; a title she held while Minister of Justice.

Shirley currently serves as the Chair of the Cabinet Committee on Strong Economy, and is also part of the Treasury Board, the Priorities and Planning Committee, and the Core Review Committee. Before her election to the Legislative Assembly, she served three terms on the Prince George School Board, the last as Chair. She also worked with the continuing education department of the Prince George School District, becoming its business manager. She was given the B.C. Interior, North & Yukon Woman of Distinction Award for her work in public education. , MLA Vancouver‐West End Spencer Chandra Herbert was re‐elected MLA for Vancouver‐West End in May 2013. He was first elected as the MLA for Vancouver‐Burrard in 2008 in a by‐election, and then elected as the first MLA for the new riding of Vancouver‐West End in 2009. Spencer serves as Opposition Spokesperson for Arts, Tourism, Film/TV, Heritage and PAVCO. He previously served as Opposition Critic for the Ministry of the Environment, and the B.C. Lottery Corporation and Gaming Policy. A strong community activist, Spencer was voted Vancouver’s Unsung Hero by readers of the Westender,and has consistently been voted Best MLA by readers of the Georgia Straight. A strong advocate for equality and human rights, Spencer introduced legislation to ensure transgender people are explicitly protected in B.C.’s Human Rights Code, leading to the successful implementation of this legislation. He has been an active voice for the environment, and his work in the legislature was instrumental in the Pacific Salmon being adopted as British Columbia’s official fish. Spencer’s work for the creative economy and tourism industries led to the highest level of support for the B.C. Arts Council in B.C.’s history, and the restoration of an industry‐led tourism marketer.

Author, journalist, publisher, editor, and corporate communications consultant, Gary Ross applies his editorial and brand expertise across a wide spectrum of businesses. He has written, edited, and published No. 1 bestsellers. His magazine work has won half a dozen National Magazine Awards, and he has helped shape scores of other award‐winning articles. He also wrote the original draft of the screenplay of the feature film “Owning Mahowny,” starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, which was based on his bestselling nonfiction book “Stung: The Incredible Obsession of Brian Molony” ( titled “No Limit” in the U.S.). His corporate communication clients have included The Vancouver Economic Development Commission, Southam Inc., St. Joseph Media, Aquilini Investment Group, Fairchild Media, Edelman PR, Distinguished Restaurants of North America, and the Troubadour Foundation. As CEO, Walt’s responsibilities include leading multiple advocacy files, building relationships with members and industry stakeholders, communicating the value of BC’s visitor economy to various audiences, and setting the strategic course for TIABC. Prior to joining the organization, he spent 15+ years at Tourism Vancouver as vice president of Marketing Communications, Membership and Sport. Over the years, Walt has held dozens of board and committee positions. At present, he is on tourism program advisory committees for both Capilano University and Vancouver Community College. He also serves on the City of Vancouver’s Sport Hosting Grant Committee.

Grant joined the BC Public Service in 1995 as a Business Unit Manager with Tourism BC after a long career in marketing and sales in the packaged goods industry with Scott Paper Ltd. In 1997 he became Vice President of Marketing for Tourism BC, responsible for world‐wide consumer marketing and travel trade programs. In April 2010, he was named Assistant Deputy Minister, Tourism Marketing with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Arts. In his current role, he is responsible for tourism industry development designed to increase BC's worldwide competitive position.

No organization is able to do everything. To make the highest and best use of our resources requires us to make good choices that provide clarity and focus to our organization and our industry, and bring the biggest return on investment.

Jackie Tegart was elected as MLA for Fraser‐Nicola on May 14, 2013.

She currently serves as a member of the Cabinet Committee on Secure Tomorrow, and the Environment and Land Use Committee.

Prior to being elected as MLA, Jackie served three terms on Ashcroft council. She was a school board member for 17 years, serving as chair for 15 of those years. She is also a former President of the BC School Trustees Association.

Jackie was the facilitator for BC Healthy Communities’ Interior Region, the coordinator for Community Futures, which plays a significant role in entrepreneurial and community development, and was a partner in Painted Ladies Gallery and Gifts.

Jackie was born in Princeton and has lived in Ashcroft for 50 years. She has four children with her late husband, and nine grandchildren.

Coralee Oakes was elected MLA for on May 14, 2013.

On July 30, 2015 she was appointed Minister of Small Business, Red‐Tape Reduction and Minister Responsible for the Liquor Distribution Branch. Previously, she served as Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development.

Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Coralee was a two‐term Quesnel City Councillor, and served as the Executive Director of the Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce.

Coralee is a Past President of the British Columbia Chamber Executives and has also served as a Director on the B.C. Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Chamber of Commerce Executives, Cariboo Chilcotin Tourism Association and numerous local not‐for‐profit organizations.

In 2007, Coralee was appointed to the provincial Small Business Roundtable, representing rural small businesses, and was appointed to the Minister's Council on Tourism in 2009. The same year, Coralee received the B.C. Chamber of Commerce Executive of the Year award.
