La Unió Catalana de BikeTrial té l’honor d’organitzar-lo i estic convençut que respondrà amb èxit al repte. Reunir els millors especialistes de BikeTrial és un luxe per l’esport català i ajudarà a promoure’l entre els més joves.
Molta sort a tots els pilots i gràcies a l’equip organitzador, a l’Ajuntament de Pujalt i a la resta d’institucions i empreses que fan possible l’esdeveniment.
The World BikeTrial Championship in Pujalt will show the world Catalonia’s organizational capacity, as well as our potential in the sport. Throughout the course of the week, we will have the priviledge of presenting some of the best rider’s in the world.
The BikeTrial Union of Catalonia has had the honor of organizing this event and I am convinced that this challenge will be a success. Bringing together the best riders of BikeTrial is a luxury for the Catalan sport and it will certainly help to promote it among young people.

Em plau donar la benvinguda a tots els participants i famílies que durant uns dies ens acompanyareu en motiu de la celebració de la XXVI edició del campionat del món de BikeTrial que tindrà lloc a Pujalt durant els dies 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 i 18 d’agost.
Pujalt és un petit municipi situat al Centre de Catalunya format per cinc pobles, l’Astor, Conill, La Guàrdia Pilosa, Pujalt i Vilamajor, que fan un total de 200 habitants.
L’economia del municipi està basada en l’agricultura, la ramaderia i el turisme rural.
Si passegeu pels diferents pobles de Pujalt podreu sentir el regust de les pedres antigues, dels pobles medievals originals, amb més de 1000 anys d’antiguitat. Podreu descobrir encara algun tram de muralla, esglésies d’origen romànic, tot i que alguna d’elles molt reformades: Sant Joan Vilamajor és un clar exemple del romànic rural; la Puríssima de Pujalt n’és del gòtic amb un retaule policromat barroc de subscripció popular.
L’esport és una eina de superació personal però és també una forma d’entendre la vida, de conèixer gent, persones, territori, de fer amics, … de conviure en definitiva. Això és el que pretenem que sigui la vostra estada a Pujalt, una experiència enriquidora, tant pels que ens visiteu com per al nostres veïns.

I am pleased to welcome all the participants and families that will accompany us throughout the XXVI edition of the World BikeTrial Championship, taking place in Pujalt from the 13th-18th of August.
Pujalt is a small Township located in the Center of Catalonia, made up of five villages - Astor, Conill, La Guardia Pilosa, Pujalt and Vilamajor, which make a total of 200 inhabitants.
The economy of the district is based on agriculture, livestock and rural tourism.
If you are walking through the different villages of Pujalt, you get a taste of old stones, of the original medieval villages, some of which are more than 1000 years old. You can still discover some walls and churches of Romanesque origin, although some of them are refurbished: Sant Joan Vilamajor is a clear example of the Romanesque countryside; The Immaculate Conception of Pujalt is Gothic with a popular Baroque polychrome altarpiece.
Sport can be used as a tool for personal improvement but it is also a way of understanding life, meeting people, experiencing new places and making friends ... living prosperously among one and other. This is what we hope for throughoout the duration of your stay in Pujalt, an enriching experience, both for those who visit us and for our fellow neighbors.

Me complace darles la bienvenida a todos los participantes i familias que durante unos días nos acompañaréis en motivo de la celebración de la XXVI edición del Campeonato del mundo de BikeTrial que tendrá lugar en Pujalt durante los días 13 , 14 , 15, 16, 17 i 18 de agosto.
Pujalt es un pequeño municipio situado en el Centro de Catalunya formado per cinco pueblos, l’Astor, Conill, La Guàrdia Pilosa, Pujalt y Vilamajor, que forman un total de 200 habitantes.
La economía del municipio está basada en la agricultura, la ganadería y el turismo rural.
Si paseáis por los diferentes pueblos de Pujalt podréis sentir el regusto de las antiguas piedras, de los pueblos medievales originales, con más de 1000 años de antiguedad. Podréis descubrir aún algún tramo de muralla, iglesias de origen románico, todo y que alguna de ellas reformadas: Sant Joan Vilamajor es un claro ejemplo del románico rural; la Puríssima de Pujalt es del gótic con un retablo policromado barroco de suscripción popular.
El deporte es una herramiento de superación personal pero es también una manera de entender la vida, conoccer gente, personas, territorio, de hacer amigos... de convivir en definitiva. Ésto es lo que pretendemos que sea vuestra estancia en Pujalt, una experiencia enriquecedora, tanto por los que nos visitais com para nuestros vecinos.

Vostès ens han donat la oportunitat de tornar a visitar Catalunya, un del països més importants del món per a nosaltres, perquè és l’origen del nostre esport, el “BikeTrial”.
Espero fermament el gran èxit de l’esdeveniment, i que sigui satisfactori per a tots, des del fons del meu cor com a president de la BIU.
First of all, let me express my deepest gratitude to the mayor Mr. Antoni Solà i Pereta of the host town Pujalt, and also all people who supported the event to make 2017 WBC come true. You gave us the opportunity to visit or return to Catalonia, one of the most important country in the world for us, as the origin of our sport “Biketrial”.
I strongly hope the event will be a great success, and from the bottom of my heart as the president of BIU, I hope all involved will satisfied with the week.

Novament estem il·lusionats amb la organizació d’un esdeveniment d’aquesta categoria. Ja en 2015 vam organitzar el primer WBC amb el nou format per concentrar totes les competicions en el mateix lloc. Aquest nou format permet als corredors competir en un campionat amb diverses rondes però en pocs dies i amb un mínim de despeses, encara que per als organitzadors es multiplica la feina i el cost. Espero que continuï sent del vostre agrat i ens compensarà per l’esforç i la passió que posem en l’organització per seguir aplicant els nostres valors esportius, familiars, personals i ecològics.
Aquest any hem d’agrair a les institucions i empreses per la seva col·laboració, però especialment a l’Ajuntament de Pujalt que s’ha bolcat en el BikeTrial.

Dear Biketrial family, I am very pleased to welcome back a WBC in Catalonia. The land where our beloved sport was born.
We are enthusiastic again to be able to organize an event of this calibre. In 2015, we already organized the first WBC with the new format to concentrate all the competitions in the same site. This new format allows the riders to compete in a championship with several rounds within a few days whilst maintaining minimal expenses, although for the organizers, this multiplies the work and the cost. I hope it we can continue to please everyone involved, which more than compensates us for the effort and passion that we put into the organization, in order to continue applying our sporting, family, personal and ecological values.
This year we would like to thank all the Institutions and companies for their collaboration, but especially the City of Pujalt that has turned to BikeTrial.

Querida familia del Biketrial, me complace dar de nuevo la bienvenida a un WBC en Cataluña. La tierra que vio nacer nuestro amado deporte.
De nuevo estamos ilusionados con la organización de un evento de esta categoría. Ya en 2015 organizamos el primer WBC con el nuevo formato para concentrar todas las competiciones en el mismo sitio. Este nuevo formato permite a los corredores competir en un campeonato con varias rondas pero en pocos días y con un mínimo de gastos, aunque para los organizadores se multiplica el trabajo y el coste. Espero que continúe siendo de su agrado y nos compensará por el esfuerzo y la pasión que ponemos en la organización para seguir aplicando nuestros valores deportivos, familiares, personales y ecológicos.

GROUP CATEGORY AND COMPETENT - CONDITION SECTION COLOR Open category for Riders with bikes equipped with a maximum wheel size of 22“. 18 years old in the current year. Elite 20 Special admission for Riders aged from 17 years old in the current year can be by Technical Group after request by the National Delegate. Open category for Riders with bike equipped with wheel size greater than 22“. 18 years old in the current year. Elite 26 Special admission for Riders aged from 17 years old in the current year can be A by Technical Group after request by the National Delegate. Elite Open category for female Riders. 15 years old in the current year. Femina 19 years old and up in the current year, with bike equipped with a maximum Senior 20 wheel size of 22“. 19 years old and up in the current year, with bike equipped with wheel size Senior 26 greater than 22“. Junior 16, 17 and 18 years old in the current year Minime 13, 14 and 15 years old in the current year Major 35 years old or more in the current year Benjamin 10, 11 and 12 years old in the current year There will be one category with a handicap (It will apply according to age). In this system, the older riders will have a higher handicap and vice versa (multiplied by the final score).

The rider must possess a license that was issued in the present year by Biketrial Union (Refer to Art. 22 - TR2017)
The participating nation must send the entry form (according to BIU format) and the list of riders to the BIU Head office, by the Delegate, through before the registration – deadline (Refer to Art. 24 - TR2017).
Official deadline for Entry List (without mark-up fee) will be the 1st July 2017.
Official deadline for Entry List (with mark-up fee) will be the 9th August 2017.
IMPORTANT: The Delegates have to specify at entry list if the riders need to use camping area and what type of accommodation will use there and how many people will be.
ENTRY FEE
The base fee is €30 per rider Group B per every event (€60 for all Championships). The base fee is €40 per rider Group A per every event (€80 for all Championships). It should be paid from the delegate, team manager or rider to the organizers before the event. From the 26th June till 1st August registration will be accepted without a fee mark-up From the 1st August till the 9th August registration will be accepted with a free mark-up of 1,50 X base fee (€45 / €90 for Group B, €60 / €120 for Group A).
PRIZE
WBC: Trophy for the top 3 Riders in each category, of each day (2 award ceremonies). A World BikeTrial Champion 2017 diploma and jersey will be given to the final winner in each category. Medals to World BikeTrial Championship are given to the top 3 Riders in final classification. Those in MAJORS Category compete in the Majors Cup, NOT World BikeTrial Championship. INSURANCE
All riders/participants must possess health insurance in order to cover accidents or medical expenses that can occur.
The organizer does not pay expenses of the event for health care. Health insurance is necessary for all the riders.
The organizer can provide additional accident insurance for each rider who does not have his or her own insurance during the period of competition.

The organizer will provide minor emergency medical services during competition for all riders. At Pujalt, a nurse will be present for two hours every day. There is a C.A.P. at Calat (11km away) for the first level emergencies - you can call 93 869 87 79. Be sure to have your European Health Insurance Card. If hospitalization is required, ambulance transport will be provided to hospital. Any hospital services out of the insurance coverage required for the athlete will be at the rider’s personal expense.

FREE CAMPING & SERVICES OF PUJALT
The organization will allocate a free camping area with bathrooms and showers for those who want to arrive with their own vehicles such as caravans or tents, with a dining room and swimming pool for free
The spaces for each caravan will be approximately 6 metres x 6 metres.
The camping will be equipped with electricity outlets, bathrooms and showers. A dining area with shade, tables and chairs will also be included.
The swimming pool will be free entry.
There will be the possibility of ordering food every day.
Remember that for the right to use the camping area, the Delegates have to note in the entry list the people and the accommodation that will be there.

ABOUT PUJALT:
Pujalt is a rural town in central Catalonia, with a total of 200 inhabitants divided between different local bodies (l’Astor, Conill, Guàrdia Pilosa, Pujalt and Sant Pere de Vilamajor), but in summer periods multiplies its inhabitants making it a town full of life and non-stop activities. Pujalt is also in the tourist area of Alta Anoia which has a range of quality lodgings can be found in www.altaanoia.info.
During this edition of the WBC 2017, all competitions will be with the Pujalt Township. Despite being a small town with no stores or restaurants, its friendly people will provide you with an unforgettable experience.
As a special effort for this year, Pujalt has also kindly constructed three impressive, man-made sections, using a variety of traditional and rustic materials. This will be both a great challenge for all competitors and a great backdrop while the competition is being televised live.
It will create a small supermarket that have basic needs, and on request from day to day you wil be able to order food and pharmacy items, specifically lamb, sausages, meats and cheeses that are typical products of the area.
We will provide a camping space for tents and caravans near a wooden building that will be used as a dining room, preparing your own food, as well as dining if you order beforehand. This space will have toilets and showers, as well as electricity.
The swimming pool of Pujalt, located next to the camping area, will be free for the whole family of Biketrial and also has a bar service.
During the competition Pujalt wants to put forward its best service to visitors, by combining sport, culture, music, history and tradition to unveil its past, its present, its future and its people and way of life.

- On Tuesday night a silent movie will be provided, followed by live music, as well as a free astronomical observation at the Observatory Pujalt www.observatoridepujalt.cat.
- On Wednesday, we will celebrate the “Sustainable Summer with Wheels” Festival with a variety of fun activities, such as Blind Trials, a social loop, Push BikeTrial, Push Bike F1, as well as Foot Bike Aqua Fun!
- On Friday, after the awards ceremony of the World Champions, will offer a free dinner for the whole family Biketrial of a traditional “recapte” pastry, Pujalt lamb and Calaf sausage. This dinner will signal the start of the festival, followed by a live concert of Pujalt Rock and a mobile disco for all attendees.
