CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM (C.B.C.S.) Following the UGC and West Bengal State University's guidelines, Bidhannagar College has opted for the Choice Based Credit System from the 2018-19 Academic Session. This is a semester based academic system that prioritises a student's choice and lays emphasis on regular class hours. Students will be awarded credits on the basis of the courses they take up. One can take up the burden of credits upto 160, but not below that of 140, to be qualified as an Honours Graduate. A basic understanding of the C.B.C.S. system can be had through the three tables that follow.
