Since Joe Troll walked onto the UMass Campus in 1957 he has been affecting turfgrass IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT industry students in a very personal way, teaching them that they are responsible for their own destinies. He understood that not only do students need knowledge, but they must build Bob A. Matthews, CGCS character and have a deep commitment to succeed in this industry.
