2nd Annual Meeting and Midterm Meeting, , Associated to the 2nd MEMO2 School 18 – 22 February 2019

The Midterm Meeting (according to art. 19.1 of the GA) assesses the fulfillment of all project aspects as described in the Grant Agreement (science, training, management, networking, ect.).

The Midterm Meeting is MANDATORY for the whole consortium, which includes all beneficiaries AND the partner organisations, and the ESRs.

Our EU Project Officer and one external expert (Prof. Milena Horvat) will evaluate the project based on the submitted deliverables and reports, and discuss with the ESRs about their experiences made within the project. A draft Periodic Report (Midterm Report) has been prepared and submitted to the EU. Aim of the meetings: Thursday: On Thursday we will update the CDPs (D4.2) and internally review the project. The WP leader will update the consortium about the achievements of their work packages, we will evaluate the progress and prepare the next steps within MEMO2. Friday: On Friday the project and its progress will be presented towards the EC and the external reviewer. The WP leader will give an overview over their WP, incl. aim, objectives and results of the first reporting period. The ESRs will prepare a poster about their individual projects and discuss the outcome with the consortium and the EC representatives. During the discussion between the ESRs and the EC representatives, the PIs and partners will continue the implementation of the next reporting period.

Travel information from Paris to the venue:

GENERAL INFORMATION The school will take place in Guyancourt (OVSQ 11 Boulevard d’Alembert 78280 Guyancourt Amphiteatre Gerard MEGIE). The closest main bus and train station is in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (whole station’s name: GARE de Saint-Quentin-en- Yvelines Montigny-le-Bretonneux). From Paris it is possible to come by using different trains: - from La Defense RER U direction Gare de la Verriere (typical name of train VERI), - from Paris Motparnasse RER N direction Gare de Rambouillet, - from Paris centre (for example Notre Dame) RER C direction Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (typical name SARA) IMPORTANT: this train has a lot of different directions, be sure you get on one which is going to Saint-Quetin-en-Yvelines.

MORE DETAILED INFORMATION Airports: Aeroport : from the airport take the RER B until station Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, change to RER C to Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Aeroport : take the direct bus 91.10 if you want to go directly to the meeting venue, the closest bus station is called d’Alembert. This bus finishes at the main station Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Aerorport Beavais: this airport is stronlgy not recommended as it is located 70 km from Paris and has no public transport: you need to buy a ticket for a private bus (16 euro by Internet, 17 euro on airport). The bus leaves from the airport stop in Port Maillot, then you need to take the Metro 1 to La Defense and change for RER U to la Verriere (get out in Saint-Quentin- on Yvelines)
