50 BAB II MEME INTERNET DAN PERANNYA DALAM LITERASI MEDIA 2.0 Pada Bab 2 ini peneliti akan menampilkan gagasan-gagasan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini dari ruang lingkup yang lebih luas, dengan melihat perkembangan teknologi media, fenomena yang terjadi, fitur-fitur pendukung dan dampak yang dihasilkan dari fenomena meme internet. Akan dibahas pula data meme internet global serta kategorisasinya berdasarkan pembentukan struktur kerangka. Untuk memahami perkembangan meme lebih lanjut, pada Bab ini juga akan ditampilkan sejarah bentuk visual meme secara global, antara lain bentuk visual pertama yang menyerupai meme, selain itu peneliti juga akan menjelaskan bentuk-bentuk eksploitasi gambar visual sebelum era digital yang mempopulerkan istilah meme di Indonesia. 2.1. Literasi Media 2.0 Demokrasi dan kehadiran internet memicu perilaku baru dalam konsumsi media masa, yang tadinya informasi ditransmisikan secara simultan dari satu sumber ke banyak orang, kini tidak ada lagi batas yang jelas antara pemberi dan penerima informasi, siapapun dapat menyampaikan informasi apapun kepada siapapun. Holmes (2015;10) dalam Communication Theory: Media, Technology and Society menguraikan perbedaan era media yang pertama dan kedua; 51 “Era media pertama bersifat terpusat dari sedikit sumber menuju banyak khalayak, komunikasi bersifat satu arah, diarahkan untuk kontrol negara, instrumen bagi rezim yang sedang berkuasa untuk menciptakan stratifikasi dan ketidakadilan, kalangan partisipan terfragmentasi dan terbentuk sebagai massa dan mempengaruhi kesadaran. Sementara itu era media kedua ditandai oleh terjadinya desentralisasi dari banyak pihak kepada banyak pihak, komunikasi berjalan secara dua arah, kalangan partisipan dipandang menjaga individualitas mereka dan mempengaruhi individiual terutama pengalaman ruang dan waktu”. Prihandari Satvikadewi, S.Sos, M.Med. Kom ABSTRAK Film “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri ini)” merupakan film drama komedi satire Indonesia yang dirilis pada 15 April 2010 yang disutradarai oleh Deddy Mizwar. Film ini juga dipenuhi bintang film Indonesia, tercatat ada sembilan nama peraih piala citra yang berkolaborasi di film ini antara lain Slamet Rahardjo, Deddy Mizwar, Tio Pakusadewo, dan Rina Hasyim. Film “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)” mencoba mengangkat potret nyata yang ada dalam kehidupan bangsa Indonesia. Gambaran dari realitas yang berlaku di tengah masyarakat salah satunya adalah pengangguran. Pengangguran adalah suatu keadaan di mana seseorang yang tergolong dalam kategori angkatan kerja tidak memiliki pekerjaan dan secara aktif tidak sedang mencari pekerjaan. Pengangguran di Indonesia bukan hanya dari kalangan yang tidak memiliki pendidikan tinggi. Faktanya, hingga saat ini para sarjana di Tanah Air masih mengalami berbagai persoalan ketika memasuki dunia kerja. Latar belakang tersebut membuat peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai makna simbolis mengenai pengangguran terdidik yang ingin disampaikan pada film “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berbasis kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna denotasi, konotasi dan mitos yang terdapat dalam Film. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori komunikasi massa dan teori film. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh adalah bagaimana film ini memaknai pengangguran terdidik berdasarkan simbol dan tanda yang terdapat dalam film, film ini mengandung kritik-kritik yang ditujukan kepada pemerintah dan juga masyarakat terkait pengangguran terdidik, sehingga mampu menambah wawasan masyarakat tentang gambaran pengangguran terdidik yang ada di Indonesia. -

CLAIR JUL 12, 2019 RENDHA RAIS hen J.J. Abrams resurrected Star Wars, he wanted excitement—and actors who would make the new films fun. For a particular scene in The Force Awakens, when raider assassins board and attempt to hijack the Millennium Falcon from their W galactic target, Han Solo, Abrams wanted action—and actors who could make it feel real. Abrams called on Iko Uwais. It was a fan’s desire as much as it was a director’s request. Abrams, like many in Hollywood, discovered Uwais through his work on The Raid: Redemption, Welsh director Gareth Evans’ Indonesian martial arts film equally inspired by Die Hard, an M.I.A. music video, and the Malay self-defense art form Silat. The Raid became one of the most celebrated action movies of the century and featured hand-to-hand combat to render Jason Bourne a haymaker-throwing street brawler and John Wick a novice MMA fighter. (John Wick star Keanu Reeves was so enthralled by Uwais, he cast him in a small role for his directorial debut, Man of Tai Chi.) Abrams wanted that action. So he called and cast Uwais and Raid co-star Cecep Arif Rahman to hunt down Han. He also asked Uwais to choreograph a lightsaber fight for later in the film.
