SkyWest welcomes the opportunity to continue serving the Aberdeen community. Our combination of safe and reliable aircraft, well-timed schedules, and access to one of the world’s largest airline networks provides passengers with quality air service and will help drive economic growth in the region. Delta Air Lines’ Network One of the most beneficial aspects of this proposal is the connectivity it provides Aberdeen passengers. They will enjoy access to Delta Air Lines’ global network, including thousands of daily flights to 330 destinations in 65 countries. The airline is also a founding member of the SkyTeam global alliance and participates in the industry’s leading trans-Atlantic joint venture with Air France-KLM and Alitalia – making it easy to connect on to more than 15,000 daily flights. This connectivity makes it simple for passengers to plan their travel and is a key factor in the area’s continued economic development. Frequency and Schedule As directed by the RFP, we will offer a minimum of 14 round-trip flights per week. All flights have been timed to ensure they offer passengers valuable flight schedules that arrive and depart on bank. This means that they have been optimized for maximum connection opportunities in Minneapolis, making the service convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Page 48 of 60 11/21/2013 With more than 800 Delta or Delta Connection departures per day, Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport makes it easy to get to destinations around the world. In addition to being a major hub, Minneapolis is also a top destination for the community. Superior Aircraft Service will be provided using the Canadair Regional Jet 200 (CRJ200) 50-seat turbojet aircraft. SkyWest has been named the most reliable CRJ200 operator in North America for the last three years and is one of the largest domestic operators of this reliable, comfortable aircraft type. All SkyWest CRJ200 aircraft are serviced by one of our highly-trained flight attendants, further adding to the comfort and convenience of our passengers’ flying experience, and are equipped with a lavatory. Additional details and specifications can be found in the CRJ fact sheet attached to this document. Summary SkyWest believes this proposal provides the best overall option for air service in the Aberdeen community. Given the connectivity at Minneapolis, the well-timed schedule and reliable equipment we expect to see continued growth in the number of passengers utilizing the service. We will also work with community and airport partners to market the service. SkyWest is excited about the opportunity to once again provide reliable air service to Aberdeen, South Dakota. Thank you for your consideration. (“CTS”).1 In its Reply, CTS complained that Swift seeks “to gain an advantage over direct air carriers.”2 Swift respectfully submits that this argument frames the issue before the Department incorrectly because it focuses on other charter carriers. An award of the preponderance of U.S.-Havana charter authorities to Swift is in the public interest because such an award will provide for consumer choice and combat the growing influence of American Airlines in the U.S.-Cuba market. For years, Swift has served multiple charter operators offering service to Cuba. In doing so, Swift facilitates consumer choice in the ethnic Cuba market in competition with the “undisputed leader among all airlines”3 between South Florida and Havana – American Airlines. Indeed, Swift serves four different indirect air carrier customers that all sell tickets to qualified travelers to Cuba in competition with each other, American Airlines, and other scheduled carriers. FORT WAYNE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT BUSINESS TRAVEL SURVEY RESULTS NOVEMBER 2013 Prepared by Mead & Hunt Page 1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY n April of 2013, the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority and Vision 2020, an initiative of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, co- Iconvened the Regional Air Service Committee (RASC) to involve regional leaders in the process of improving air service to Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA). During the committee’s first term, the RASC created and distributed a business travel survey to gain greater insight into the business traveler needs and attitudes at FWA. The information gleaned from this survey will help direct future activities of the RASC and give FWA insight into the priorities and experiences of local business travelers including travel habits, purchase processes and opportunities for new routes. The survey was distributed throughout the 10 counties in Northeast Indiana in addition to Kosciusko County. A total of 353 responses were received. Full results of the survey are included in this release, with important highlights and thought starters called out below: The top five domestic direct flights wanted out of FWA are New York City, Atlanta, Washington DC, Dallas/Fort Worth and Orlando. These routes point us to eastbound expansion, with high connectivity. Orlando, Dallas/Fort Worth and Atlanta have existing IRPORT direct flights out of FWA, so examining the possibility for increased frequencies could serve A travelers well. 40% of respondents originate their flights at other airports. They cite ticket price and flight scheduling as the biggest factors carrying them to competitors. NTERNATIONAL NTERNATIONAL I 24% of international trips by Northeast Indiana travelers originate out of FWA, followed by Chicago at 23% and Detroit at 19%.

  • 2018 Annual Report
2018 Annual Report Dear Allegiant Shareholder: 2018 produced another successful and profitable year – operating income was $243 million and we continued our streak of 65 consecutive profitable quarters as of Q1 2019. We have accomplished this remarkable feat through downturns in the economy, significant oil price spikes and most recently a complete replacement of our fleet - all while continuing to grow. The following annual graph illustrates our profitability history against the back drop of the price per barrel of oil and economic growth since 2003: During the past 20 years, we have led the industry in operating income margin. Our 15.2% average annual operating margin has been number one by a wide margin compared to number 2 Alaska at 10.9% and number 3 Southwest at 10.5%. In 2018 we again led the industry with the highest operating margin. While it is not uncommon for us to lead the industry in operating margin, to produce such results during an unprecedented fleet transition, completed a year ahead of schedule, is uncommon! This remarkable accomplishment required us to retire 37 MD80 aircraft and add 24 A320 series aircraft – more than 30% of our entire fleet during 2018. Since our humble beginning in 2001, we have developed one of the most defensible and sustainable airline models in the world. The transition to an Airbus fleet was the first major step in our next chapter.
