DID YOU KNOW? 2012 OFFICERS AND BOARD INSTALLED Dan Edwards 2012 Board Member Dan Edwards joined the club in 2000 and was elected to the Board in 2012. He is a 25-year Navy vet and then served as chief financial officer for two companies before he purchased a small manufacturing company that he oper- ated for seven years. He was elected to the Virginia Beach School Board in 1998 and has served as the Board Chairman for the past 13 years. Dan serves his community as Treasurer for the Virginia Beach Crime Solvers, Vice President of the Kempsville Ruritan Club, Scholarship Chair for the Virginia Beach Sports Club, and Secretary and Scholarship Chair of the Virginia Beach Rotary Club. Dan has been married to his wife Sue for 40 years. His son Billy, daughter-in-law Lara, and grand- daughter Paige live in Boulder, CO.
