Missions & Ministry CBCFC/CHS PARTNERSHIP On Friday, May 14, we will serve the staff of Central High School a picnic lunch: sandwiches, deviled eggs, fruit salad, pickles, chips, brownies, cookies, and ice cream. Drinks will include water, tea, and soft drinks. You can participate by offering your prayers, donating money to help cover costs (just designate CBCFC/CHS Parnership on your donation) or you can contact us to find out other ways you can help. FOUNTAIN CITY MINISTRY CENTER NEWS The FCMC remained opened throughout 2020! Through March of this year, 136 seniors, 369 adults, and 271 children have been served. There are funds available to meet any special needs on a case-by-case referral basis. Volunteers are needed to carry food bags to cars and provide spiritual as- sistance to clients. Volunteers who speak Spanish are especially needed. The FCMC Board is looking for a new chair at this time. The clothing ministry needs donations of new/gently used summer cloth- ing for girls (sizes 3, 4, 5T) and boys (sizes 6, 7, 8). New cosmetic bags filled with makeup are needed for teenage girls. Many “faith stories” have emerged recently, such as donors purchasing food and clothing from local businesses and donating those items to the Center, and some groups have gone to nearby apartments to minister. God continues to work through the FCMC to serve people in our community! Wellness THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER Open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8am - 8pm Wednesday, 8am - 3pm and Friday, 8am-noon The weight room, racquetball court and basketball are by reservation only. The track is limited to 10 people in order to provide proper distancing. Both the game room and craft room are closed.
