Timetable June 2015 1 All pre-booking passengers are asked to register with the Local Link Wexford office. Passengers only need to register once. Please book your seat by 3.00pm the day before you wish to travel. Fares on Weekly Services: • Adult Return €6.00 – Adult Single €3.00 • Students Return €3.00 – Single €1.50 Over 18’s must produce a valid student card to avail of student fare • Children 4 to 17 Return €3.00 – Single 1.50 • Children 3 and under Free of Charge • Free Travel Pass accepted College Services Weekly ticket €35, Day return €10, Single €5. Weekly ticket must be paid for each Monday morning. These services operate from the second week of September to the second week of May. As these routes operate to WIT term times, they do not operate during mid-terms, Christmas & Easter holidays. Wexford, approximately 7.5km northeast of New Ross and 12km southeast of Graiguenamanagh, and can be described as comprising two constituent parts in that the proposed development relates to the carrying out of works at two locations as follows: Ballywilliam Bridge: 1.2.1. This area comprises the westernmost extent of the wider site and encompasses the Ballywilliam bridge crossing of the R731 Regional Road over the Aughnacrew River in addition to part of the river itself, the river bank, and a section of the public road. It also extends southwest to include a small field alongside the regional road that will be used as a site compound during the construction works. Although this field is presently undeveloped and may have previously been used for agricultural purposes, it was noted during the course of a site inspection that a significant number of disused / empty chemical storage tanks had been placed within the north- eastern corner of the field immediately alongside the river bank seemingly for makeshift storage purposes.

    St Vincent de Paul Wexford Calling on all Businesses and Householders to Donate their Old Newspapers St Vincent de Paul has announced a new project; the charity is appealing to the households and businesses of County Wexford to donate old newspapers by bringing them to a local St Vincent de Paul Newspaper Recycling Bin. St Vincent de Paul has partnered with Wexford community enterprise project, Recycling 2000, for this initiative. Recycling 2000 will recycle the newspapers making a donation to St Vincent de Paul for all newspapers collected at the nominated recycling points. All funds generated from this initiative will go directly to helping the people in need within our communities. “We are very excited about this initiative and are confident that the people of Wexford will again get behind us. Our goal is that Recycling 2000 will collect 50% more newspapers than they did last year which will translate into a sizable donation to the St Vincent de Paul.” commented Mary Dempsey, Wexford Area President, Society of St Vincent de Paul. The good work does not end there. Recycling 2000, a community based recycling project has an environmentally friendly ethos. All old newspapers collected will be used to produce environmentally based products. In addition, by sourcing a larger proportion of newspapers locally the level of handling and unnecessary transportation of old newspapers will be significantly reduced, thus reducing the carbon footprint of all involved. “The majority of households and businesses throughout the country are now segregating their waste and have adopted excellent recycling habits. As part of this directive the HSE formed a Local Implementation Group comprising of HSE personnel involved in the delivery of Paediatric Services. Parent, Department of Education and Section 39 Voluntary agency representatives will also become involved in this process as we move forward. While reviewing current service provision it became apparent that there was a lack of awareness of all the support services that are available for children and their parents in the Wexford area. In order to address this deficit we have put together the attached directory of local supports both Voluntary and HSE run in County Wexford. This directory includes: Parenting Programmes Advocacy Groups Mother and Toddler Groups National Disability Organisations This list while comprehensive is not an exhaustive therefore we would appreciate it if you could inform us of any new developments or groups which may not have been included. Ecological status at two of the river waterbodies (Aughnaboy_010 and Blackwater Wexford_010) declined in the 2013- 2015 WFD monitoring cycle cycle. Phosphate and Ammonia are elevated in all three At Risk waterbodies. On Aughnaboy_010 and Cahore Canal_010 he significant pressures are agriculture (both point and diffuse sources) and septic tanks. Wastewater discharge from unfinished housing estates is also a pressure on Aughnaboy_010. On Blackwater Wexford_010 the significant pressures are diffuse urban, wastewater and hydromorphology. The remaining five RWBs are unassigned due to a lack of monitoring data and were revised to review pending determination of the water quality by Wexford County Council. An unmonitored lake, Kilmacoe, was revised to Not at Risk due to the lack of pressures inputting to the lake.
