An introduction to China and recent developments in its museums, a presentation from a Chinese museum professional and case studies from UK museums on practical aspects of their collaboration aim to stimulate an exploration of the subject. Topics will include exchange – exhibitions, education, youth programmes, interns, expertise, volunteering, artist residencies, websites, and tourism and funding support. The symposium is for museum professionals from medium sized and larger museums looking to build individual international relationships with China.
