The story keep going in new directionsBy Maria M.I really wish this manga got an anime, but it doesn't look likely as the trend in Japan is to feature the less violence as possible. That's why we don't have great shonen anime series like Bleach, Beelzebub, etc running anymore.Oh well, maybe there's hope for an OVA or something.This volume was more character oriented, rather than action and origin oriente, and it's a great change of pace.The latest story left me wanting for more, looking forward to volume 10!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. About the AuthorUnconventional author/artist Hiroyuki Takei began his career by winning the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize (named after the famous artist of the same name). After working as an assistant to famed artist Nobuhiro Watsuki, Takei debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997 with Butsu Zone, an action series based on Buddhist mythology. His multicultural adventure manga Shaman King, which debuted in 1998, became a hit and was adapted into an anime TV series. His new series Ultimo (Karakuri Dôji Ultimo) is currently being serialized in the U.S. in SHONEN JUMP. Takei lists Osamu Tezuka, American comics and robot anime among his many influences.
