Exploring Sri Lankan- born Suresh Joachim’s full-time career as a record breaker, the documentary follows Suresh from one record-breaking attempt to another, giving viewers a rare glimpse of his journey to Canada during the civil war that drove thousands of Tamils abroad. Premiering to English- language audiences on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 9pm ET/MT/PT on OMNI 2, OMNI and OMNI BC, Mission Possible: The Unstoppable Suresh Joachim also debuts for Hindi language audiences on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 9pm ET on OMNI.2.

Currently a Toronto resident, Suresh set his first record at age 16 and has since broken 62 Guinness records – ranking third in the world for number of simultaneous records held (as per the 2010 Guinness World Record book). From the longest time rocking on a chair (75 hours), to greatest distance moon walked in 24 hours (49.25 kilometres), to longest Elvis impersonation (55 hours), Mission Possible: The Unstoppable Suresh Joachim documents his achievements past and present, revealing the meaning of his work and his place in the world.

Told through the eyes of Suresh, his wife, as well as his children and supporters, Mission Possible: The Unstoppable Suresh Joachim, shows viewers how the word “no” does not exist in Suresh’s vocabulary. Suresh’s career as a record breaker began two decades ago in Sri Lanka during the civil war that drove thousands of Tamils abroad, and has continued through his journey to Canada. With a lifetime goal of breaking 500 world records and being crowned the ‘Guinness King,’ Suresh strives to make his name synonymous with Guinness World Records.
