Stars Finalize Opening Night Roster Team Waives Demery, Dixon-Tatum, Hearlihy, Thomas SALT LAKE CITY (October 31, 2018) – The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, have finalized the team’s roster for the start of the 2018-19 season. The club waived guard James Demery, center Asauhn Dixon-Tatum, guard/forward Josh Hearlihy and forward Michael Thomas. The Stars will begin the 2018-19 campaign on the road on Friday, Nov. 2, against the Iowa Wolves. The team will return to Salt Lake City for its home opener against the Texas Legends on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. at Vivint Smart Home Arena, home of the Utah Jazz. The finalized Salt Lake City Stars roster is comprised of 12 players, including Utah Jazz two- way players Tyler Cavanaugh and Naz Mitrou-Long, and the No. 1 overall selection in the 2018 NBA G League Draft, Willie Reed.
